It is just about time for the Cricut Card Summit to begin. This summit is hosted by Stamp Me Some Love. I previously attended the Card Maker Success Summit in February and I loved it so much, I just had to mark my calendar for this one. I must admit the VIP Access Pass is the way to go. Not only does it have tons of bonus items to download, the reduced stress of trying to watch all the videos in a 24 hour period is totally worth it. I will be so eager to share all of my new learnings in the upcoming weeks.
Birthdays at the Office
For this past week, I thought I was going to spend more time indulging in sublimation. Unfortunately, I found myself working on birthday gifts and mother’s day cards before I ran out of time. At my full time job, I work in a small office, we like to make birthdays special. The month of May finds us with 3 employees having birthday (out of 8 total), therefore we do a fun evening out to celebrate. I find that I am not the most creative when coming up with ideas, but once we come up with a plan I am excited to put it together. Here are two of the gifts that I made for two coworkers. I was so pleased with the way they turned out and as long as I took my time, the layering was not as scary as I thought it would be.
Mother’s Day Card
As I am sure you know, Mother’s Day is fast approaching and since both my Mother and my Mother-in-law live out of town, need to get those cards down early enough to be put in the mail. I was looking forward to doing a pop up card that I saw a few months back, but I was afraid that would be really overwhelming. So I opted for a cute little card of ducklings that I found on cricut. Not sure how to find out who to give credit to for the design, so if you know how to do that, let me know so I can give a shoutout to them. Although that would mean I would know how to even give the shoutout. Still learning on all ends. Here is my cute Mother’s Day Card.
